Concentration

A concentrate solution is one where there is more solute than solvent. A great example is a glass of cordial. When you add more cordial (solute) and less water (solvent), you get a concentrated solution. The opposite of concentrate is dilute. This is where there is more solvent than solute. An example of both is on the left.
