Suspensions

Today, I had a read about suspensions. When something like flour or sand is mixed with water, the large particles of the sand or flour sink towards the bottom. The stuff that settles on the bottom is called sediment. But when you mix the suspension, all that sediment flies around. I thought that was pretty interesting.
