Yesterday we completed the Ice to Water to Steam prac in the lab. Some great observations were made and excellent discussion was generated as a result.
The pic left shows the ice in the water at the beginning of the prac. Below left you can see the water when it has reached boiling point.
wow this prac was awsome i loved it how the ice melted and the water didnt rase up that was main thing i lernt but all so that when its iced water the fog on the out side of the glass is really water when we used the bunson burner on it there were drops there was a couple witch serprised me!
ReplyDeleteI loved this prac. It was the best one that we've done all year! I found it interesting how long it took to hit boiling point with the ice in the water.
